The Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher (RNS president 2026), has chosen to support us and other charities this year.
We are incredibly grateful and proud to have been chosen by the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher, as one of the charities he is supporting during his Presidency of the Royal Norfolk Show 2026. For a local charity such as Herring House Trust, this recognition means a great deal. It provides an important opportunity to raise awareness of homelessness and the challenges faced by some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, while also sharing the stories of recovery and positive change that are possible with the right housing and support.
We are pleased to stand alongside St Martin’s Housing Trust and King’s Lynn Night Shelter in representing charities supporting people experiencing homelessness across Norfolk. The Royal Norfolk Show brings together people from across the county and offers a unique opportunity to highlight both the realities of homelessness and the difference that communities can make when they come together to support those who need help.
